Sto leggendo due libri di Paul Szymanski. Appartengono entrambi alla serie Battle Beyond – Fighting Space Wars!, sono autopubblicati su Amazon e disponibili solo in inglese. Il primo, Memories of the Last of the Original Space Warfighters: 50+ Years Fighting Space Wars!, restituisce in registro memorialistico cinquant'anni di esperienza operativa al massimo livello della dottrina americana sulla guerra spaziale. Il secondo, The Battle Beyond – Fighting and Winning the Coming War in Space – Sun Tzu and the Art of War Applied to Space War, Volume 1, ha carattere dottrinario: applica i principi del Bingfa di Sun Tzu, composto in Cina fra il V e il IV secolo a.C., alle condizioni operative del teatro orbitale contemporaneo, e ne deriva settecentoquaranta strategie.

Questo articolo non vuole riprodurre la lettura del bugiardino di un medicinale; vuole, invece, rappresentare, un ragionamento sul momento attuale e sulla tecnologia presente nella nostra società utilizzando le due coordinate principali della realtà in cui viviamo: Spazio e Tempo. Purtroppo non esiste nessun bugiardino o avvertenza relativa all’attuale architettura della società collegata al fenomeno emergente dell'Intelligenza Artificiale Generale (AGI)

Progress toward a better future is a notion about time, but emerged from a feeling of spaciousness.  At the end of the 19th Century, European peoples confronted the end of their capacity to expand spatially into other parts of the world.  It was the end of the Age of Empires and the end of the Frontier for Americans.  Optimistic expansionism was undaunted, however, and the 20th Century opened with a new version: a future paradise based on a combination of technology with social science and political-economic nostrums.  As the Century closes, we are facing the exhaustion of that world view.  The frontier of time is closing.  The 21st.  Century is dawning on the end of the future.
